I love Candice Olson’s media rooms, so I designed this space around my husband’s 42″ Big TV. We did all the work ourselves: cabinetry, faux panelling, hardwood floor, painting, even the TV installation!

The mount collapses to less than 5 inches, extends out to 21 inches, tilts forwards and backwards 0-20 degrees and swivels up to 160 degrees. The exact amount of swivel depends on the size of your TV. Typically a 32 inch unit can swivel the full 160 degrees whereas 55 inch units are limited to about 110 degrees as at some point the edge of the TV touches the wall. The TV arm brackets mount separately to the TV allowing for lift and lock inch installation. The wall plate includes three circular 2 3/4 inch openings for cable management. The second to last slots on the wall plate are 16 inches center to center and .75 inches wide for standard US studs. The universal design fits the vast majority of 32-55 inch TVs. Specifically it will fit any TV up to 165LBS with a hole pattern up to 28.5 inches horizontally and 19 inches vertically. This includes the standard VESA 100, 200 and 400 hole patterns. The mount does not fit VESA 800. VESA 800 uses mounting holes which are 800mm apart horizontally (about 32″) and is used by certain LG and Philips units
